Bringing strategic risk leadership and insights to your project
Hi folks! For the best part of past last four years, this newsletter has been dedicated to exploring the critical and sometimes overlooked intersections of climate change, risk management, security, geopolitics, and finance. I’ve written and opined extensively on how climate change and geopolitics are two of the biggest macro challenges we face, reshaping risk and opportunity for everyone. I’ve also written about solutions based on my experience and those of industry experts, from new ways of investing and emerging technologies to innovations in risk management best practices.
Short of an alien takeover, we’re going to be living with these problems for a long time. So there’s never been a greater need for actionable analysis, advice and solutions.

Build your own intelligence team: Design, advise and build out best-in-class, value-creating intelligence teams inside of your organisation. And intelligence isn’t just security, geopolitical or cyber. Also climate, insider, risk, market.
Proactive crisis and scenario planning: Design and facilitate workshops to explore high impact, plausible probability security, geopolitical and climate scenarios for your organisation. And building robust strategic risk management frameworks to set up your organisation to proactively manage these risks.
Climate security risk assessment: Assess how climate impacts (e.g., extreme weather, resource constraints) could affect your operating environments, supply chains, people, or the stability in the markets you operate.
Geopolitical resilience + opportunity mapping: Work with you to develop strategies that connect geopolitical risk with the “so what, now what” you need to translate risk to action or new investment opportunities. Examples include regulatory landscapes, location strategies, energy markets, supply chains.
Bespoke analysis: Deep-dive reports, white papers, or tailoured briefings that translate complex topics which I cover in this newsletter into actionable intelligence at all levels of an organisation, from C-suites to operational teams.
